A 501c3 family owned Nonprofit with a focus on children's education and creativity
The Harris Hawk Foundation, Inc., is an independent publishing 501c3 non-profit corporation that publishes high quality books for children and young adults. We champion a passion for creativity and encourage a life-long love of imagination and inventiveness. The Harris Hawk Foundation uses proceeds to support children’s programs within small, underrepresented, communities. The foundation sparks advancement of the mind for children and young adults by encouraging a life-long passion for creativity and ingenuity.
Founded in 2022,
Harris's Hawks have some of the most sophisticated communities of the desert creatures, working together to nurture and educate their young into their small but powerful families, using their intelligence to work in a cohesive group. Like its namesake, The Harris Hawk Foundation values its smaller, underrepresented, communities and focuses on supporting and nurturing its children. We are located in the vibrant small town of Cave Creek, Arizona, deep in the Sonoran Desert. Co-founders Harley and Ashley Samuelson are both from small rural towns where a sense of community is highly valued. By championing a passion for creativity and education in younger children we can impact underrepresented communities and encourage a life-long love of imagination and inventiveness. The Harris Hawk Foundation is where children’s dreams take flight.
As our Co-Founders are both from small towns our company will always value small communities. We are currently focused on a line of children's books that tell us that even small communities are important.
Children can now see their towns published in the "Adventures of Freya" series. Follow Freya as she journey's across the US highlighting these special underrepresented communities. Proceeds of these books go to buy educational materials and books for the children of the book's highlighted community.
